What's New at Zype: Analytics API

By Chris Smith on April 02, 2018

We’re excited to announce the launch of Zype's Analytics API! We've released a new Analytics API endpoint that allows developers to generate custom queries to get access to your account's stream hours and impressions data in powerful new ways.

Access the Analytics API

You can access Zype's Analytics API by visiting our developer portal. You'll find detailed information about what data can be queried, how to make requests to the API, how filtering and views work, and more.

Filtering data by dimensions

With Zype's Analytics API, you can easily filter data in your queries by a number of supported dimensions, including date range, video, consumer, and device type. This allows you to specify exactly what data you'd like to view in your query, ensuring you're only focusing on the results you care about.

Returning results in summary or detailed view

You can also decide if you'd like to return your Analytics API query results in summary or detailed view. Summary view will show you an aggregate view of the data in your query, rolled up by dimension. Detailed view will return each row in your query.

Flexible data export via JSON or CSV

You can easily change the data export format for your query, choosing between JSON or CSV. This is helpful when you need to export data in CSV format for business users who are slicing data in tools like Excel or Google Sheets, or if you need to parse the data in JSON.
