Zype is pleased to welcome industry executive Linda Abrams to the role of Vice President of Sales.
With over 20-years experience across leading companies in the Media and Entertainment industry, Abrams brings to Zype her passion for helping companies find the right technology solutions to distribute and monetize their content across the OTT ecosystem.
Abrams joins Zype’s Sales team at an inflection point in the company’s history, the company having recently announced its acquisition by Backlight, a new global media technology company with the mission to serve media, entertainment, and video-forward customers with cloud-based solutions to improve every step of the media content lifecycle.
At Zype, Abrams will assist in expanding the go-to-market efforts and sales strategy focused on enterprise accounts in the media and entertainment space who can leverage Zype’s cloud-based content management platform, playout and OTT app-building solutions to manage and distribute enterprise-grade video at scale across the web, mobile, TV, and social media.

Prior to joining Zype, Abrams led 24i Media’s North American sales efforts to generate revenue and drive the growth of the business. At 24i, Abrams worked with top clients such as Pluto, Viacom Media Networks, Sinclair Broadcasting, FuboTV, Fuse, Newsmax, Topic, and many other leading OTT services. Before 24i, Linda was the founder and President of Xposure Media, a global TV marketing and distribution company that guided OTT services, MVPDs, broadcasters and media companies to increase their audience and drive revenue across multiple distribution platforms. Other roles include leadership positions at Warner Bros., Viacom and StarGreetz along with volunteer work at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
