Teams should be able to see when a cue was received, what it contained, how it was transformed, and whether a downstream action occurred.
Useful monitoring questions include:
- Did the marker arrive before the intended event?
- Was it preserved in every output?
- Did the ad system recognize the opportunity?

- Were there overlapping or back-to-back cues?
- Did the stream return cleanly to programming?
- Did every destination interpret the marker consistently?
For high-value events, cue validation should be part of pre-event testing and live monitoring—not a postmortem step.
